What is Vistaar?
Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) is a socio-cultural organisation with many different branches (shakha's) across the country.
At each of these 'shakha's' (typically run weekly), there are a range of different activities such as yoga, physical exercises, traditional indian games such as Kabaddi and Kho-Kho and educational talks/discussions on matters of Hindu dharma.
We strive to develop certain qualities (sanskaar's) such as courage, discipline, honesty, a sense of service to society, respect for elders etc. Ultimately, we hope to provide all round character development for our members.
Vistaar literally means expansion and thus I will be working towards the development and expansion of HSS. I will be based in the East London region to carry out this work. Primarily, I will be visiting and working together with all the various shakha's in this region to seek to improve and develop the work which they do.
This undertaking is purely voluntary and is a full time role - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
